All Vendors must be pre-registered, no drop-in vendors allowed.
Vendor contract must be submitted and approved.
$28.58/space per week (all stalls are 10ft wide with space to drive in).
$10 Junior Vendor Space per week (must be 18 years and under, and all products must be sold by the junior vendor; table and space only, no drive-in). Please fill out this form. Then email it to the farmersmarket@oldsregionalexhibition.com or call the office.
Vendors must provide their own tables & chairs.
Regular vendors may pay in full for the year or monthly and will be assigned designated spaces for the season when possible.
Casual vendors will be placed in available spaces each week.
Products
All products/services a vendor wishes to sell must be listed on their application and approved by the Market Manager.
Products not listed must be approved before being sold.
What can't be sold at the Farmers Market
Fruit from outside of Canada.
Tobacco, vaping products/equipment.
Marijuana – including edibles.
Used items, antiques, flea market items.
Live animals.
Anything illegal to sell/trade/own in Canada.
Weapons.
Food items that AHS has not approved for sale at farmers markets.
Hours of Operation / Setup
VENDOR Move-In and MOVE-OUT HOURS
Group A: 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Group B: 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Group C: 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm
All vendors must be in place by 3:00 pm.
All goods and displays must be within your assigned area
PUBLIC HOURS
Thursdays: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Food Vendor Requirements
Food vendors must follow all food safety training and paperwork required by AHS for the items they are selling and must bring a paper photocopy for the Market Manager on their first market day. Food safety training and permits, if required by AHS, must be provided.
All AHS rules and regulations must be followed. Items being sold outside of AHS guidelines may not be sold.
All claims about a product must be backed up. Organic items must be certified, and cures/treats must have medical studies recognized by Health Canada.
